Established in October 2001, with the aim to support widows financially, and to help less privileged children in their educational needs.

AWT caters to this marginalized group, to empower them and strengthen values of independence and self-sustenance, along with promoting education among the deserving children of the society, provide them with medical assistance, and help those who are physically or mentally disabled.

Along with this, AWT has designed a special stipend program for its employees, whereby their children are sent a monthly allowance to encourage education, and also a scholarship program, through which every year two students are fully funded for their undergraduate and/or Masters degrees.

The Trust now provides monthly allowances to over 250 widows and educational support to over 1400 children, spread all throughout Pakistan. It aims to further increase the number of beneficiaries, and establish new programs for maximum assistance.

Statistics to know

Azeem Welfare Trust (AWT) has reached out to widows and children from all over Pakistan, to help them sustain themselves, even in the absence of bread-winners of the family. Up till now, AWT has been successful in helping over 260 Widows, by providing them with monthly financial allowances, along with medical help and supporting their dependents’ education.

AWT is also supporting more than 1400 children in their pursuit of education, and funding deserving students for their graduate degrees on a competitive basis, to encourage values of hard work and learning, combined.

More than Rs. 1 Million have been spent in donations, with the amount increasing as new programs are being introduced.

AWT aims to increase the number of beneficiaries, to provide maximum assistance and support to the less privileged.
